THE ART OF HEALING
Lumiere Studio was created from the belief that art can do more than fill a wall — it can shape atmosphere, tell stories, create connection, and offer hope during difficult seasons of life.
Founded by artist and visual storyteller Heather Jacobson, Lumiere Studio exists at the intersection of abstract art, branding, patient experience, and emotional healing. After years spent working in marketing and storytelling within the cancer community, Heather became deeply aware of how environments, imagery, and human connection influence the way people feel while navigating treatment, uncertainty, and recovery. What often stayed with her most were not only the clinical moments, but the emotional ones — the quiet conversations, the need for comfort, the importance of feeling seen, and the spaces that either softened or intensified those experiences.
Lumiere Studio grew from that understanding…
The studio blends abstract expressionism with intentional storytelling to create artwork and experiences centered around softness, humanity, and hope. Through layered textures, muted palettes, and organic movement, the work explores the emotional power of art to calm spaces, restore presence, and reconnect people to themselves.
At the heart of Lumiere Studio is a commitment to giving back to the communities that inspired it. The studio offers creative workshops and painting classes for individuals currently going through cancer treatment, survivors, caregivers, and local nonprofit support groups. These sessions are designed not around artistic perfection, but around expression, reflection, and emotional release — creating space for people to slow down, process, and create something meaningful with their own hands.
In addition to workshops, Lumiere Studio will feature a monthly charitable print release, with proceeds benefiting a selected nonprofit organization, cancer support initiative, or local community cause. Each collection is created with the intention of turning creativity into tangible support — using art not only as a form of beauty, but as a vehicle for care and connection.
